Chuck E Cheese's (written last Saturday)

Have you ever been out and smelled a baby that was obviously poopy and wondered "Why don't they change that kid?" Well, I guess I can no longer judge. Last night was my mom's last night in town and we wanted to do something fun so off to Chuck E Cheese's we went. Right as we where getting out of the car I realized I didn't have any diapers with me. I figured they were both dry and had pooped that day so we should be fine: big mistake! Luckily, the said incident didn't happen until we were about to leave anyways, but man how embarrassing. I left the babies in the toddler area with Jamison while I gathered up some of our things when Jamison ran up gagging to tell me he thought "Chloe pooped her pants" I grabbed her and started to find everyone else. It was so bad my mom and I took Jamison, Caleb and Chloe out to the car while Kade tried to find Kylie as she was M.I.A.. Where was Kylie, oh yeah, she was in the back of the restaurant covered in pee. Apparently she had to go to the bathroom but couldn't find it and had an accident while she was looking for the ladies room. The kids then proceeded to fight with each other and gag over the stench the entire ride home. On the way home it occurred to me, we are probably that family that others point and stare at but hey it could be worse (:

What A Day!

Why is it we always have nothing going on or everything going on all at once. This week was an everything week. Seems like we have been running nonstop! Today was the day of my twin's club clothing sale. I worked and sold at it from 8 am-3 pm. Today was also the first day of Jamison and Kylie's soccer season. Kade took the kids to soccer while I did the sale. My car is the only one that can transport all the kiddos so we woke everyone up bright and early, took the trip to the valley to drop me off and they went about there busy day until it was time to get me again. While everyone did great we learned a few lessons:

 1. I don't miss working. I often fantasize about going back to work when home is stressful or money is tight. After being gone for two days I realized how lucky I am to have the opportunity to stay at home and watch my children grow up. It was so hard to miss Kylie's 1st soccer game and I don't want to have to miss these things on a regular basis. I really missed my loud, crazy, goofy group of rugrats and couldn't imagine doing it on a regular basis. Also, after seeing what my house looks like after this week, after a few months of working my house would probably be condemned!

2. I guess it kinda goes with #1, I don't miss working retail, I hate balancing tills and after being on my feet all day they are killing me!

3. Kade is super dad! He pulled everything off way better then I probably would have. I am such a control freak that I either do everything on my own or micro manage. He did the games, lunch, nap time flawlessly and the kids really enjoyed there game. I already knew this before but what a reminder of how blessed I am to have this amazing man to call my husband.

4. Although Kade is super dad, super dad's can't do hair :P

5. Arthur is not a kids movie, whoops, change of plans for the evening after about 10 minutes. Thankfully Jamison agreed and was pretty understanding

Now, time to end this week with some relaxing and rest after all we should start next weeks crazy schedule with at least one good nights sleep...
