Why is it we always have nothing going on or everything going on all at once. This week was an everything week. Seems like we have been running nonstop! Today was the day of my twin's club clothing sale. I worked and sold at it from 8 am-3 pm. Today was also the first day of Jamison and Kylie's soccer season. Kade took the kids to soccer while I did the sale. My car is the only one that can transport all the kiddos so we woke everyone up bright and early, took the trip to the valley to drop me off and they went about there busy day until it was time to get me again. While everyone did great we learned a few lessons:
1. I don't miss working. I often fantasize about going back to work when home is stressful or money is tight. After being gone for two days I realized how lucky I am to have the opportunity to stay at home and watch my children grow up. It was so hard to miss Kylie's 1st soccer game and I don't want to have to miss these things on a regular basis. I really missed my loud, crazy, goofy group of rugrats and couldn't imagine doing it on a regular basis. Also, after seeing what my house looks like after this week, after a few months of working my house would probably be condemned!
2. I guess it kinda goes with #1, I don't miss working retail, I hate balancing tills and after being on my feet all day they are killing me!
3. Kade is super dad! He pulled everything off way better then I probably would have. I am such a control freak that I either do everything on my own or micro manage. He did the games, lunch, nap time flawlessly and the kids really enjoyed there game. I already knew this before but what a reminder of how blessed I am to have this amazing man to call my husband.
4. Although Kade is super dad, super dad's can't do hair :P
5. Arthur is not a kids movie, whoops, change of plans for the evening after about 10 minutes. Thankfully Jamison agreed and was pretty understanding
Now, time to end this week with some relaxing and rest after all we should start next weeks crazy schedule with at least one good nights sleep...
